Lily went on to talk about the big move and how she’s finding life in the Big Apple, adding: “I really enjoyed it.”

“I enjoy the anonymity I have there, and I enjoy that for my children too – I’m a mother, I make packed lunches, I take them to school.”

“Then I maybe write for a few hours, read a few scripts, go to the gym, and then I pick up the kids and make them dinner, and that’s my existence.” I really enjoy it.

“Sometimes my ego needs some stroking, so I get on a plane and come to London for a few weeks – then I say ‘I’m bored now’ and come home.”

Lily recently publicly showed her unity at a basketball game in New York on Thursday after being plagued by rumors that her marriage was in crisis.

The pair were pictured for the first time since questions about their relationship were raised when Lily unfollowed the Stranger Things actor on social media.

But Lily and David seemed to enjoy spending some quality time together as they sat courtside and watched the Cleveland Cavaliers take on the New York Knicks.

Speculation increased when Lily wasn’t pictured with the Netflix star in recent days and David attended Thom Browne’s 20th anniversary dinner alone on Monday.

However, the couple appeared to brush aside speculation about their marriage as they took a break from their parenting duties to watch the game.

To add further confusion, the couple celebrated their third wedding anniversary a week before Lily’s unfollowing.

Lily shared a photo from her wedding day on Instagram – which is still on her grid.

She wrote: “Three years with this guy, the second best decision I ever made. The first was that dress.”

The low-key ceremony was led by Elvis Presley impersonator and chapel co-owner Brendan Paul.

The couple were first linked in January 2019 when they attended the BAFTA Tea Party together.
