She made her name with a challenging role on The Pillowman.

And Lily Allen continued her post-theater fashion show with a fun, ’90s-inspired look as she left London’s Duke Of York Theater on Wednesday.

The 38-year-old singer, who flaunted her designer wardrobe after her shows, showed off a hint of her abs in a denim top and matching skirt.

Lily’s look consisted of a light-washed denim bustier top with an idiosyncratic, pointed chest.

The piece was paired with a matching A-line skirt and her glamorous look was finished off with golden heels.

The Pillowman is Lily’s latest acting role after appearing as Jenny in last year’s 2:22 A Ghost Story.

She has taken on the role of Katurian, a writer of disturbingly violent stories imprisoned in a totalitarian state.

However, the star admits her work schedule has disrupted her relationship with her children – who she hasn’t spoken to in weeks.

She lives in a home in New York City with husband David Harbor and their daughters Ethel, 11, and Marnie, 10, from her previous marriage to home builder Sam Cooper.

But her starring role in a revival of Martin McDonagh’s The Pillowman at London’s Duke Of York Theater has kept her from staying away from loved ones during its three-month run.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, Lily admitted it caused her to suffer from loneliness, made worse by her children attending a summer camp in the United States.

She wrote: “Hello Monday. One month until The Pillowman. I miss my home, I miss my little ones who are both at summer camp and haven’t even spoken to them in two weeks! “Tired and lonely, but the banya always manages to get my blood pumping and my spirits up.”

The singer recently appeared on This Morning with her co-star Steve Pemberton to discuss the production.

She said, “There’s a little bit of violence in there.” She’s an artist and a writer and that’s something I can identify with. She definitely pushes boundaries. There was a lot I could use.’

Lily, who is used to performing as a singer, shared how she enjoys the quiet way of acting in a theatrical production.

She said, “I really like the routine of it all.” I love being in one place. “It’s nice not to get on a bus and drive to the next destination.”

For Lily, the role is serious business as she never leaves the stage for the entire duration of the play.

The Pillowman is only running for a limited time and will end in early September.
