The actress, who plays aspiring American marketing manager Emily Cooper in the hit Netflix series, put insoles on every pair of shoes to reduce discomfort, but still had to seek professional help.
“Now I just want to go outside where I can wear flats. Because in heels – you won’t believe how painful it can be in Paris! — said the 33-year-old daughter of singer Phil Collins.
“I went to the orthopedist every week to fix my feet because I was always in heels. And I had to make insoles for every pair of shoes. I am not kidding. I felt pretty old,” she said in an interview with American talk show host Jimmy Fallon.

“I auditioned for a superhero. It would be a lot of fun,” she said.
“I’m not one of those actors who say they would never do it. It’s something I’m open to and I was definitely in the listening room.”
Lily has also set her sights on a West End show and says she would love it if Richard Curtis, creator of hits like Notting Hill and Love Actually, gave her a role in one of his films.
“I can’t even tell you how much I would love to be in a Richard Curtis film. I’m such a big fan of his,” she said.
“These films in many ways define the era of my growing up. They are so wonderful.”
