Lima Duarte, 93, returned to her home in Itaituba, in the interior of São Paulo, after her daughter's funeral, which took place over the weekend. Julia Martins died last Saturday the 17th at the age of 49.
She was admitted to the São Camilo Hospital in São Paulo last Friday evening. The cause of death was not disclosed.
“Lima is doing well, as far as possible for a situation like this. He has returned to his place of residence and is in direct contact with his family,” the artist’s press office told EXTRA on Monday 19th.

Lima, 93, took to Instagram on Saturday, posting a photo with her daughter and lamenting the incident. “When everyone I know is gone, what’s left? Empty. Be silent. Yes, the rest is silence,” the artist wrote, quoting Hamlet by William Shakespeare.
The actor was married four times and had four children, Monica, Julia, Pedro and the actress Débora Duarte, whom he adopted as his daughter. She is the result of a previous relationship with Lima's exwife, Marisa Sanchez. Daughter Julia lived with her son and a nurse in the Pompeia district, western zone of the capital São Paulo.
