At the age of 93, the actor Lima Duarte, in an emotional release, said goodbye to his daughter Júlia Martins, who died last Friday (16) at the age of 46 in São Paulo after being admitted to the São Camilo Hospital.
When saying goodbye to Júlia, the actor quoted a sentence from the classic “Hamlet”: “What is left when everyone I know is gone? Empty. Be silent. Yes, the rest is silence.
Júlia's death was also announced on the actor's profile in a story: “It is with deep regret that we announce yesterday (February 16) the death of our beloved Júlia Martins, 46 years old, daughter of the actor Lima Duarte.”
The family and the hospital did not provide any information about the cause of Júlia's untimely death.
Julia lived with her son and a nurse in the Pompeia district in the western zone of São Paulo. She was one of the actor's four daughters, the result of a relationship between Lima Duarte and Mara Martins that spanned around 20 years. In addition to her, the artist is also the father of Mônica Martins, Pedro Martins and the actress Débora Duarte.
