The Cuban comedian white chalkywho has been known for his humanitarian work for several years, is preparing a New Year’s Eve dinner for 100 needy people.
The artist will celebrate the evening on the patio of his house, which he is already cleaning and preparing to set the tables and get everything ready for December 31st.
“I have December 31 in my heart because I saw something in the Bible, looked for 100 people in need and shared New Year’s Eve dinner with them at my house,” Limay shared on his social networks.
The comedian explained in a video that the food will be alone for dinner: he already has a whole pig for the occasion, and there will also be congrí and cassava with mojo. In addition, he said he is happy to be able to offer this satisfaction to so many people at a time when many Cuban families are unable to enjoy a piece of meat or a decent meal on such an important date.
To select the people to benefit from his generous initiative, Limay went to neighborhoods “where I know people have needs” and also selected several families consisting of “mother, daughter and grandchildren where there are none there is a man who helps, there is no livelihood.”
Limay also collects candy and other trinkets to fill two large piñatas: one for the kids who go to dinner at her house and another to bring joy to the little ones in her neighborhood; a project to which he has invited anyone he wishes to contribute.
