The Montreal Canadiens announced the recall of defenseman Gustav Lindstrom from the Laval Rocket, while Joel Armia was demoted to the American League on Sunday.
The former has already played two games for the big club this season, but has not yet collected any points. With the Laval Rocket, the former Detroit Red Wings fullback was suspended in four games and also had a -6 differential.

As for Joel Armia, he hadn’t convinced Habs management to keep him on the team after training camp. He was subsequently placed on waiver before being traded to the Rocket as none of the National League’s 32 teams claimed him.
However, after good performances with the Rocket, he was recalled on October 21st. In six games with the Canadian this season, the number 40 flashed the red light once.
