Tragedy in the family of Lino Banfi. The great-grandson of the Apulian actor amanuel he is said to have committed suicide by jumping from the seventh floor of a building in Vimodrone in the province Milan. The dynamic was reported by Corriere della Sera. The boy was the adopted son of Michele Lagrasta and nephew of Nicola Lagrasta, who is Lino Banfi’s brother-in-law and cousin of Rosanna Banfi. The latter announced the news in a lengthy post on their Facebook page.

«Do you remember Amanuel, that beautiful baby you held in your arms in so many photos I saw in his house? Well, he, himself, decided at the age of 18 to embark on the “journey of no return,” leaving his parents and all of us stunned as we wondered why. Luckily you’re not there, it would have been too much for you and your sensitivity. Mom, hold him in your arms like you did then and take care of all the defenseless children this society of ours has produced, forgetting their fragile souls. Mom, that’s not right, that’s not in the nature of things. I’m not a believer but I wish there was a god who could help this family. I miss you,” Rosanna wrote.
