How to celebrate: Lionel Messi officiates Argentina’s dressing room party as he dances with the trophy and a $10M check, filmed by his close friend and retired star Sergio Aguero… with a staff member jumping headfirst into a BIN!
Lionel Messi officiated Argentina’s World Cup celebrations, with the player of the tournament dancing on a table in the dressing rooms – in footage of Sergio Aguero.
The 35-year-old led his side to the World Cup after an incredible final in which Argentina beat France on penalties.
The World Cup was the only trophy to leave Messi’s collection and it seems the PSG forward couldn’t be happier to add it to his collection.

After getting on the table, Messi was joined by his teammate Lautaro Martinez, who jumped up to dance with the World Cup trophy.
The rest of the dressing room gathered around their captain and continued to sing while the World Cup trophy was the focus of everyone’s attention.
The former Barcelona star then celebrated with the $10m check Argentina received after winning the final.
The chants fell silent while Messi was presented with the check, but when it was handed over to Argentina’s No.10, normal service resumed and the champions’ chants resumed.
After Messi danced on tables and with checks, the celebrations got a little more unorthodox.

It was a brilliant World Cup final and one of the Argentinian staff decided there was no better way to celebrate than somersaulting into a bin.
Driven by their colleagues like in the long jump at the Olympics, this employee threw himself headlong into the bin.
They gained a fair amount of height on the jump and jumped straight into the barrel with perfect form.
After exiting the bin, the current gymnast was greeted with much cheering and plenty of booze as they moved off the floor to the top.

As the celebrations continued, Aguero also took the time to mock French youngster Eduardo Camavinga.
Whilst partying in an Argentinian shirt, despite having retired from football, Aguero decided to dedicate a drink to the Real Madrid man – also calling him an ad***face.
Celebrations will continue late into the night for Argentina players and fans as they finally get to celebrate their third World Cup trophy.

After the game, Messi said he will not retire from international football. Messi told his home-grown sports channel TyC Sports: “I’m not retiring from the national team. I want to keep playing as a champion.’
The Argentina coach also hopes Messi can play for his national team for many more years.
Lionel Scaloni said: “We have to save him for the next World Cup – 2026. If he wants to keep playing, he will be with us. He has more than the right to decide what he wants to do with his career now.’
Scaloni also addressed Diego Maradona’s absence from the celebrations, adding: “We are such a football-loving country and if he were here he would have enjoyed it so much. I wish he was here to enjoy this moment.
