Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of Elvis and Priscilla, passed away in January 2023 at the age of 54. Six months later, the singer’s autopsy was released and revealed complications from a blockage in the small intestine led to her death.
The information was released by the Los Angeles County Coroner. The full report has not yet been made available by the department, which is expected to include toxicology results, according to TMZ.
Lisa went into cardiac arrest on January 12 and was found by a staff member. Paramedics rescued her at her home in California, USA and took her to West Hills Hospitals and Medical Center. After further stops, the singer was placed in an artificial coma, but did not resist.
The composer struggled with multiple alcohol and drug problems throughout her life and underwent cosmetic surgery in the months leading up to her death. Additionally, Lisa put herself through an extreme weight regimen because she wanted to be thinner for the various awards for which “Elvis,” the Elvis Presley biopic starring Austin Butler, was nominated, according to TMZ.

Lisa had four children, one of whom was Benjamin Keough, who took his own life in 2020 at the age of just 27. She is survived by daughter Riley Keough, Aged 33, the result of a relationship with musician Danny Keough, and twins Harper and Finley, aged 14, from marriage to guitarist Michael Lockwood.
