Lisa Marie Presley’s final resting place will be next to her son Benjamin Keough, who died in 2020, a representative for her daughter and actor Riley Keough said. Elvis and other members of the Presley family are also buried at Graceland.
Fans paid their respects at the gates of Graceland on Friday, writing messages on the stone wall, leaving flowers and sharing memories of Elvis Presley’s only child, who was one of the final touchstones of the icon whose influence and importance still reverberate for more than 45 years after his own sudden death.
Lisa Marie Presley, 54, died Thursday hours after being rushed to a Los Angeles hospital for cardiac arrest.
She was last seen in public at the Golden Globe Awards on Tuesday, where she and her mother Priscilla Presley watched Austin Butler win Best Actor for his portrayal of Elvis in Baz Luhrmann’s biopic.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday’s red carpet, she called Butler’s performance “incredible” and “authentic.”
