“It was pretty destructive.” [sic]. I never got that angry, I never said anything I didn’t mean when I smoked weed, but she said really horrible things to me that kind of stopped us from getting closer when she drank.

In February, Garibaldi reflected on her “surreal” death in an emotional interview published to mark the star’s 55th birthday.
Garibald also praised Lisa Marie’s daughter Riley Keough, 34, for caring for her twin sisters Harper and Finley, 14.
The interview took place 20 days after Presley’s tragic death on January 12 at the age of 54 after suffering cardiac arrest at home and requiring cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
He said of her shocked death: “It’s still so surreal,” before adding that he wanted to do the interview because “people know about me, but they don’t know me” – days after he died on January 22 attended a memorial service for Presley at Graceland.
Garibaldi also said that he and Presley grew apart in the years before her death.
Navarone remembered his late sister in an Instagram post a day after her death at age 54 last month
Last month, Garibaldi posted a childhood photo of himself with his sister on Instagram.
He was referring to Lisa Marie’s late father Elvis Presley, who died in 1977 when she was nine years old; and her late son Benjamin Keough, who died by suicide in July 2020 at the age of 27.
“Big sister… I hope you are at peace and happy now with your father and son by your side,” Garibaldi said. “I know the last few years haven’t been easy for you, and I wish things had been different between us… Regardless, you’re my sister and I’m sending you love and prayers for your journey home.”
At the end he said, “I still can’t believe it, I’m at a loss for words.” I love you, sister. Beijos.’
Garibaldi paid tribute to his late half-sister a day after his mother confirmed in a statement that the singer-songwriter had died after being rushed to hospital following a suspected cardiac arrest.
“It is with a heavy heart that I share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” Priscilla said in a statement to People. “She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known.”
“We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this difficult loss.” Thank you for the love and prayers. There will be no further comment at this time.’

She died of a small intestine obstruction caused by a previous weight loss surgery – opioids were found in her blood at the time of her death.
Elvis Presley’s daughter was hospitalized on January 12 after suffering cardiac arrest. A report from the LA County coroner found that the star died as a result of a small intestinal obstruction (a condition that results from a previous illness or injury).
The intestinal obstruction was in the form of a strangulated small intestine and was caused by adhesions that had developed many years earlier after bariatric surgery (stomach stapling).
The toxicology results also show that Lisa had “therapeutic” levels of oxycodone in her blood, with a second opioid, buprenorphine, used to treat opioid addiction also being found.
There were also traces of quetiapine, an antipsychotic, TMZ reports.
The coroner states that no “drug paraphernalia or narcotics” were found at her home and that her urine toxicology test came back negative.
The report confirms that Lisa had had plastic surgery and been prescribed opioids several months before her death, with the star having a history of “overmedication” – forgetting she had taken her medication and then taking it again.
The reports also stated that the star had a “history of alcohol and drug abuse.”
