Lisa Marie Presley’s coffin was unveiled a day before her funeral at Graceland as her family prepares to bury her alongside her son and famous father.
Presley’s body is on public display during her Sunday celebration of life at the Graceland family estate in Memphis.
The singer and mother of four died last week after suffering cardiac arrest twice, leaving behind her three daughters Riley, 33, and twins Finley and Harper, 14.
Presley will be buried next to her son Benjamin, who took his own life in 2020, and across from her father Elvis’ property around the backyard well.

Benjamin’s coffin had to be moved slightly to accommodate his mother’s.
The plaque that will cover the tomb is currently covered with a tarpaulin for protection.
The family is reportedly hosting a private ceremony ahead of the public one tomorrow at 9am.
A stage with a platform was erected on the forecourt for the public service. Hundreds of seats have been placed around it and privacy screens have been placed around the burial site.
Yesterday, her daughter Riley posted a touching tribute to her mother on Instagram – the first time she has acknowledged her death.
She posted a photo of her mother gazing at her in admiration as a young child while looking back with a soft smile on her face.
Presley’s oldest child simply captioned the heartbreaking post with a red heart.
Presley grew up fearing her own mortality after finding her father dead at age nine, which traumatized her. She often spoke of her own death, even referring to the Graceland estate’s backyard as a “graveyard.”

“How many people have a family plot in their backyard? How many people are reminded of their fate, of their mortality, every damn day? All the graves are lined up and there’s a place waiting for me right next to my grandmother,” she told Playboy in 2003.
Despite her anxiety, the singer believed she had many years to live last Sunday, telling her boyfriend David Kessler, who works as a grief counselor, that she had “so much to do”.
The couple were at the Graceland estate to celebrate Elvis’ 88th birthday, and Presley, who has rarely appeared in public since her son’s death, told the admiring crowd, “You’re the only people that keep me out of the house be able.”
