“Damn, some chapters will make you cry for weeks. You will read things you don’t want to read, you will have moments when you don’t want the pages to end. But you have to keep going. Stories keep the world going. Live yours, don’t miss it.”
Lisa wrote, “I’ve been collecting inspirational quotes and wisdom—ripped from magazines, scrawled in notebooks, and stashed in journals in my bottom drawer—for as long as I can remember.”
She added: “So at the end of what I’ve known for many difficult years, I’m going to share some of it with you now. I hope you find them as inspiring as I do.”
Lisa also said: “Honestly, if you’re looking for words to soothe and literally, gently, put your heart and soul back together, any of Courtney’s stunning books, with their magnificent poetry embedded within their pages, will do it for you .”

Her exit comes after a controversial year for the TV presenter, during which she was taken off the air after her disastrous Logies speech, which led to a delay in a rape trial.
Lisa also made headlines last October for her bombshell memoir, which partially details her strained relationship with former Today co-host Karl Stefanovic.
In her book, she made a number of claims about Karl and how she left Nine over a reported dispute over the gender pay gap.

She claimed the pay gap between her and Karl when they hosted the breakfast show was once “so off the charts no one would have believed it.”
However, it was later reported that for years early on in their on-air partnership, she had earned more than Karl, and it wasn’t until Seven tried to poach Karl that he was able to negotiate the higher salary.
Lisa didn’t mention this important detail in her memoir, instead focusing on the pay gap in her later years at the helm of Today.
