Lise Dion suffered a heart attack last Friday evening before going on stage for a performance on her farewell tour in Saint-Eustache. Chu arrived there.
In a press release issued late Monday afternoon, the 68-year-old comedian’s team specified that “a heart attack was quickly diagnosed.” Initially, a “discomfort” was cited to explain why the performance at the Zénith was canceled at the last minute.
Lise Dion, who remains hospitalized, will rest for the next few weeks or even the next few months.

Lise Dion is a very popular figure in Quebec and has sold hundreds of thousands of tickets since the start of her prolific career. She wanted to thank the public who showed her their love after her health problems were brought to her attention.
Ticket holders for shows taking place between now and December 22nd will be notified of the process for obtaining a refund or of the new dates. The next performances of his show Chu Ren là were scheduled for November 9th and 10th in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts in the Laurentians.
