While touring with the show Chu René là, comedian Lise Dion fell ill on Friday evening before going on stage at Le Zénith in Saint-Eustache.

Ms. Dion is currently under medical supervision, the comedian’s manager, Daniel Senneville, said in a press release on Saturday.

Ticket holders for the Saint-Eustache show will be informed of the refund or postponement procedure, he indicates.

“We thank you for respecting Ms. Dion’s privacy,” the artist’s manager added.

For Lise Dion it was to be the last show of her career in Saint-Eustache. A few hours before the performance of her show at Zénith, she mentioned in a video posted on her Facebook page that it’s about emotions.

The 68-year-old comedian has sold more than a million tickets in his 35-year career. The tour of his latest solo exhibition Chu René là is scheduled to end in December 2023.

It was not immediately possible to know what will happen to other Lise Dion shows scheduled elsewhere in Quebec later in November and December.
