Comedian Lise Dion is “under medical supervision” on Saturday, a day after an illness forced her to cancel a show scheduled for the evening in Saint-Eustache, her manager confirmed.
“Daniel Senneville, the comedian’s manager, confirms that Lise Dion suffered from an illness yesterday evening (Friday) before taking the stage at the Le Zénith event hall in Saint-Eustache,” reads a press release from SMAC Communications, published for the artist’s press is responsible for relationships.
“She is currently under medical supervision. No further comment will be made at this time,” it said.
For Lise Dion it was to be the last show of her career in Saint-Eustache. A few hours before the performance of her show “Chu rendered there” at the Zénith, she mentioned in a video published on her Facebook page that “it was “rough” for the emotion.
The event was sold out in this hall with around 700 seats.
In its press release, Lise Dion’s team stated that people who had tickets for Friday night’s show would be informed later about the refund or postponement process.
It was not immediately possible to know what will happen to other Lise Dion shows scheduled elsewhere in Quebec later in November and December.
His “Chu Ren là” tour has already been certified triple platinum and has sold over 300,000 tickets.
Not to mention one last lap before retirement. This is his final tour before he moves on to several other “upcoming great projects.”
