At the Musicultura Finale, Litfiba, Manuel Agnelli, Gianluca Grignani and Ditonellapiaga will perform on the Sferisterio stage in Macerata. We are waiting to know the billboard of “La Controra” – the rib of the festival that throughout the week will enliven the squares and courtyards of the historic center with events ranging from concerts to recitals, from editorial presentations to performing ones Arts range, Musicultura announces today the first welcome guests who, together with the winners of the competition, will be the protagonists of the last two evenings of the show on June 24th and 25th in the Arena.
The first of the two evenings, June 24th, will feature the artistic testimonies of Litfiba, Ditonellapiaga, DakhaBrakha, Violons Barbares and the performances of the eight winners of the competition on stage. On June 25th there will be performances by Manuel Agnelli, Silvana Estrada, Gianluca Grignani, Pilar, Emiliana Torrini & The Colorist Orchestra, in the only Italian performance of 2022 by the Icelandic artist and those of the four artists in competition most voted by the Sferisterio audience the night before. All sets are specially designed for the occasion, in line with the formula of a festival that offers guest artists an atmosphere of freedom of expression, free from strict commercial logic.

This is the case of Silvana Estrada, a very young and talented Mexican artist, or the Violons Barbares, a Mongolian-Bulgarian-French trio that unleashes an unprecedented power live. Not to mention the Ukrainians DakhaBrakha: we had followed them for years, we were struck by their ability to find impressive syntheses between their country’s rich, wonderful musical tradition and modernity; Having her on the Musicultura stage takes on a very special emotional meaning now that a war is ravaging her country ».
In the coming weeks, the names of the eight winners of the competition, with which Musicultura has been protecting the artistic dimension of the song form since 1990 and helping to discover and promote new young, deserving talent, will be announced.
After the two presentation concerts of the finalists, broadcast live on May 3rd and 4th by Rai Radio 1, the festival’s official radio station, from the Teatro Persiani in Recanati, the songs of the artists are always the center of attention on Rai Radio these weeks 1 for distribution to the public.

The finalists’ pieces are currently being reviewed by the festival’s prestigious Artistic Guarantees Committee, which will meet at this XXXIII. Output composed of:

It is up to the Artistic Committee to select six of the eight winners, with the remaining two winners being nominated by Musicultura. The overall winner will be chosen on June 25th, based on the result of the vote of the Sferisterio audience: he will receive the Banca Macerata prizes of 20,000 euros.
The Piero Cesanelli Critics’ Plaque (3,000 euros), the AFI Prize (3,000 euros), the Prize for the Best Text (2,000 euros) and the Prize (10,000 euros) for the realization of a tour will also be awarded. with the support of NewImaie.
