LIV: DeChambeau goes far in Chicago

Bryson DeChambeau came from far and wide to take top honors at the LIV tournament in Chicago.

After starting the day in 14th place, the American managed to climb to the top of the rankings thanks to an excellent final round of 63 (-8) on Sunday.

DeChambeau beat Australia’s Marc Leishman and India’s Anirban Lahiri by one stroke.

This is his second title on the LIV circuit after triumphing at White Sulfur Springs, West Virginia on August 6th.

Colombia’s Sebastian Munoz, who led by three shots after 36 holes, collapsed under the pressure. He submitted a card of 73 (+2) and ended up at the bottom of the podium.

In the team competition, DeChambeau and the Crushers were crowned champions with a combined score of -33, ahead of Fireballs GC (-30) and 4Aces GC (-25).
