One of the best selling and most popular games
On Friday November 10th, the new work of the famous Call of Duty was released, celebrating the twentieth anniversary of this internationally successful video game. Two decades after the release of the first game in the franchise developed by Infinity Ward Studio, Call of Duty is one of the best-selling shooter games in the world.
But despite continued popular success, every release of a new work can suffer the price of fame. Call of Duty: Modern Warfaire III is hardly available and is already being criticized by critics. Too short, botched campaign, lack of optimization: negative comments are pouring in on social networks. So is Call of Duty’s twentieth release an opportunity to take stock of the game’s development? How can the industry’s mainstay renew itself?
