- According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, one hundred and fifty trucks carrying humanitarian aid have entered the northern Gaza Strip since the ceasefire began on Friday.
- The United Nations fears a “high risk of famine” in the Palestinian enclave. A six-day ceasefire is “not enough to have a significant impact,” says the World Food Program, which is calling for “uninterrupted and regular supplies” of food to Gaza.
- According to Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu, the French helicopter carrier Dixmude, equipped to provide hospital care, picked up the first wounded. The hospital structure of the ship, which docked in the Egyptian port of El-Arich on Monday, included two operating rooms, forty beds, eighty nurses, scanners and analytical laboratories, the minister said.
