- The number of victims continues to rise as new massacres of civilians are uncovered. In Israel, the latest report records more than 1,200 dead and more than 2,800 injured, according to the army. After the kibbutz of Kfar Aza, two kilometers from the Gaza Strip, where Hamas massacred more than a hundred civilians, it was the kibbutz of Beeri that was opened to the media on Wednesday. On the Palestinian side, the latest report shows more than 1,350 dead and more than 6,000 injured, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.
- Israeli bombing raids continue in Gaza. “A massive attack on numerous centers of the terrorist organization Hamas in the Gaza Strip” is underway, the Israeli army announced on Thursday morning. According to the IDF, 2,687 targets have been attacked in Gaza since Saturday. According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), citing Palestinian authorities, more than 1,000 houses were destroyed and 560 others were severely damaged and rendered uninhabitable. According to the Palestinian Refugee Agency (UNRWA), at least 340,000 people have been displaced.

- The Lebanese Hezbollah claimed responsibility for new shootings on Wednesday of southern Lebanon against Israel, claiming to be acting in response to the deaths of three of its militants killed by Israeli bombing on Monday. The Israeli army, for its part, justified new bombings in southern Lebanon on Wednesday morning as a “response to anti-tank missiles that targeted Israeli soldiers.”
- The “complete siege” of the Gaza Strip The measure announced by Israel on Monday is “prohibited” under international humanitarian law. The United Nations, European Union and humanitarian organizations returned calls on Tuesday expressing concern about the situation. The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is in contact with Hamas and the Israeli authorities to advocate for the release of the hundred hostages held in Israel.
