  • The number of victims continues to rise as new massacres of civilians are uncovered. In Israel, the latest report records more than 1,200 dead and more than 2,800 injured, according to the army. After the kibbutz of Kfar Aza, two kilometers from the Gaza Strip, where Hamas massacred more than a hundred civilians, it was the kibbutz of Beeri that was opened to the media on Wednesday. On the Palestinian side, the latest report shows more than 1,350 dead and more than 6,000 injured, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.

  • The “complete siege” of the Gaza Strip The measure announced by Israel on Monday is “prohibited” under international humanitarian law. The United Nations, European Union and humanitarian organizations returned calls on Tuesday expressing concern about the situation. The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is in contact with Hamas and the Israeli authorities to advocate for the release of the hundred hostages held in Israel.
