- Thirty-three humanitarian aid trucks entered the Gaza Strip on Sunday through the Rafah crossing on the border with Egyptsaid the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs. This is the largest convoy to enter the besieged Palestinian territory since the limited resumption of aid deliveries on October 21, the UN office said. A total of 117 humanitarian aid trucks were able to enter the enclave.
- Preventing humanitarian aid from reaching Gaza could constitute “a crime.”, said on Sunday the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Karim Khan, for whom “Israel must immediately ensure that civilians receive food and medicine.”

- US Vice President Kamala Harris said Washington had “absolutely no intention or plan to send combat troops to Israel or Gaza.” She recalled that Washington did not equate Hamas and the Palestinians. “The Palestinians deserve measures of security, self-determination and dignity, and we have made it very clear that the rules of war must be respected and humanitarian assistance must be provided,” Ms. Harris said in an interview broadcast on CBS on Sunday.
- Several dozen men stormed the tarmac and terminal at Makhachkala Airport on Sunday evening. Capital of the predominantly Muslim Russian republic of Dagestan, to the announcement that a plane from Israel was scheduled to land there. According to Dagestan’s Ministry of Health, at least ten people were injured, two of whom were in “critical condition.” Russia’s aviation authority Rossaviatsia announced that the airport would remain closed until November 6th.
- The Palestinian Red Crescent said Sunday evening that the Israeli army had repeatedly bombed the area around one of its hospitals in Gaza. It caused damage and endangered patients and civilians who sought refuge there.
- According to Hamas, Israeli bombings have killed more than 8,000 people, most of them civilians and almost half children since the beginning of the war. The attack by the Palestinian Islamist movement in Israel on October 7 left more than 1,400 people, mostly civilians, dead.
- According to Reporters Without Borders, journalists who were victims of strikes in Lebanon on October 13 were targeted. Two bomb attacks fell 30 seconds apart on a group of seven journalists covering clashes between Hezbollah and Israel in southern Lebanon. One of them died and four were injured.
