Here is the most important information from the last 24 hours:

Six dead in a Palestinian camp. Six people were killed and many were injured in an Israeli operation in a Palestinian camp in the north of the occupied territories in the West Bank, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said on Wednesday. “Six martyrs killed by the occupation (name given to Israel by Palestinian officials, editor's note) and seriously injured were transported to the Thabet Thabet government hospital in Tulkarem,” the ministry said.

Telecommunications cuts. Palestinian telecommunications company Paltel announced on Tuesday a new telecommunications cut in the Gaza Strip, the fourth since the start of the war. “We regret to announce a total disruption of fixed-line telecommunications and internet services […] in the Gaza Strip due to ongoing aggression,” the company said, adding that its technical teams “are working to restore services despite the dangerous conditions on site.”

On the way to a long war… Israeli army chief of staff Herzi Halevi said the war in Gaza would “continue for many more months.” “The goals of this war are not easy to achieve. The war will last for many more months,” the chief of staff assured at a press conference.

…and “different”? White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan and Israeli Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer discussed Israel's transition to a “different phase” of its war against Hamas in Gaza, according to a U.S. official. According to him, both discussed “the transition to a new phase of the war to focus on important Hamas targets.”

Assessment of Hamas. The Palestinian Islamist movement's health ministry reports 20,915 deaths since the war began on October 7. That figure includes 241 people killed in the last 24 hours, the ministry said, which also reported more than 54,918 injured.
