Emmanuel Macron will visit Israel on Tuesday, the Élysée said.
The Israeli army has intensified its attacks against the Palestinian enclave. Dozens of Palestinians, including children, were killed in Gaza following the decision. According to a spokesman, “dozens” of Hamas fighters were also killed.
According to the Lebanese National Agency, these attacks targeted southern Lebanon on the night of Sunday to Monday. Benjamin Netanyahu, assembling his war cabinet in Tel Aviv on Sunday evening, warned that Hezbollah would make “the mistake of its life” if it went to war against Israel.

A second aid convoy entered the Gaza Strip via Rafah. Joe Biden and Benjamin Netanyahu agreed on a “continuous flow of aid” to the besieged Gaza Strip.
The Israeli army said it “accidentally” attacked an Egyptian position in the Kerem Shalom sector. The Egyptian army reported several “minor injuries” among border guards.
The Pentagon announced an increase in its military presence in the region following “escalations by Iran and its affiliated forces,” and its chief Lloyd Austin warned that his country “will not hesitate to act” if its interests are targeted .
