The preliminary rounds begin: The preliminary rounds for Miss Universe 2023 begin

Miss Universe 2012, Olivia Culpo, with presenter and fashion expert Jeannie Mai, who introduces the sections of the grand ceremony.
Website goes from: The live bash website, where fans paid $5 to watch the Miss Universe primary, was shut down completely and the organization once again resorted to streaming via YouTube as in previous years.
Behind the camera: Miss Nicaragua 2023, Sheynnis Palacios, prepares to go on stage.
During the preliminary rounds of Miss Universe 2023, the 85 candidates, including Miss Nicaragua, will parade in front of the qualifying jury in a swimsuit and evening gown.

National costume: Sheynnis Palacios will represent the Zanate, a black and common bird in Nicaragua, in her national costume.
“I am happy, exuberant, spicy like Nica, optimistic and ready for a new day that will brighten the parks and fields of my beautiful Nicaragua and all of Latin America,” reads the description of the Grackle designed by Jorge Salazar.
Interview: Sheynnis Palacios, Miss Nicaragua, had her interview with the jury this Tuesday, November 14th. He assured on his social networks: “On this doubly special day, I take my beautiful homeland with me and am proud to represent its lakes, volcanoes, diversity and colonial history, which is part of our identity.”

His time in El Salvador: Miss Nicaragua traveled to El Salvador on November 3 and has since attended charity dinners, cocktail parties, photo sessions and rehearsals.
