UKRAINIAN STRIKE IN CRIMEA
The Russian government confirms that Ukraine attacked a shipyard on the east coast of Moscow’s annexed Crimean peninsula on Saturday. The gunfire damaged a ship and caused debris to fall onto a dock, Russian authorities admitted.
“The Ukrainian army fired 15 cruise missiles at the BE Butoma (Zaliv) shipyard in the city of Kerch,” the Russian Defense Ministry said, according to state media. “Air defense systems shot down 13 of the cruise missiles,” the ministry added, adding that “a ship at the factory was damaged after being hit by an enemy cruise missile.” No one was injured, the Moscow-appointed governor of Crimea said , Sergei Aksionov.

BALLISTIC MISSILE
Russia announced on Sunday that it had successfully tested an intercontinental ballistic missile capable of carrying nuclear warheads from a fourth-generation nuclear submarine.
The launch of the Bulava missile, the first in about a year, comes shortly after Russia withdrew its ratification of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT).
“The new strategic nuclear submarine Kaiser Alexander III. “Successfully fired the Bulava intercontinental ballistic missile from the White Sea,” the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement. With a range of 8,000 kilometers and a length of 12 meters, the Boulava can be equipped with ten nuclear warheads.

SHIPYARD
Ukraine said it hit a shipyard in Russian-occupied Crimea at the port of Kerch yesterday. “On the evening of November 4, the Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully carried out attacks against the maritime and port infrastructure of the Zaliv Shipyard in the temporarily occupied city of Kerch,” the Ukrainian army initially said without further details.
Since launching its counteroffensive against Moscow forces this summer, Kiev has intensified its attacks on the Black Sea peninsula, which Russia captured in 2014.
