VE DAY CELEBRATIONS CANCELLED
In Russia, Russia’s victory over Nazi Germany is celebrated on May 9 with a grand celebration of patriotic uprising. According to the British Ministry of Defense Daily Report, six Russian regions, occupied Crimea and about 20 cities have canceled their parade planned for that day for security reasons. A parade is planned in Moscow, but on a smaller scale than usual.
