Joe Biden announces new military aid to Ukraine
Joe Biden announced a new $800 million in military aid to Ukraine this Thursday. This envelope contains “heavy artillery, dozens of howitzers, 144,000 ammunition, and drones,” he said.
To continue providing military aid to Ukraine, Joe Biden said he would seek additional funding from Congress. Washington also intends to provide $500 million in additional economic aid to keep Ukraine’s government afloat.

Ukraine accuses Russia of preparing a sham referendum in Cherson and Zaporizhia
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accused Russia on Thursday of wanting to organize a fake independence referendum in the Cherson and Zaporizhia regions in the south of the country that he occupies.
