According to the Russian news agency Ria Novosti, the Duma has passed a text that tightens the penalties for critics of the Russian army in Ukraine. From now on, these people can face up to 15 years in prison and a fine of up to 5 million rubles.

AN AGREEMENT IN “CONSULTATIONS”
Consultations between all parties on Ukraine’s grain export deal continue, the UN said on Tuesday, after Russia’s proposal to extend it by just 60 days left uncertainty about its continuation.
“The United Nations will do everything possible to preserve the integrity of the agreement and ensure its continuity. Consultations with all parties continue at all levels,” said Jens Laerke, spokesman for the United Nations Humanitarian Organization, which is the chief at the heart of the negotiations.
