Zelensky: In Mariupol, “Russian aviation deliberately dropped a bomb on a theater in the city center”
In a video posted to social media on Wednesday, the Ukrainian president reacted shelling of the Mariupol theater.
“Russian aviation deliberately dropped a bomb on a theater in the city center. Hundreds of people hid there to escape the bombardments. The building is destroyed. The number of victims is still unknown. My heart is broken”.

“More than a thousand” people took refuge in the bombed theater of Mariupol
Ukrainian authorities said on Wednesday Russia destroyed a theater in which more than a thousand people had taken refuge in besieged Mariupol, the death toll at this stage is not determined.
“The invaders destroyed the Drama Theatre. A place where more than a thousand people took refuge. We will never forgive this,” the mayor’s office said in a Telegram message.

Biden called Putin a “war criminal”
US President Joe Biden on Wednesday called Russian President Vladimir Putin a “war criminal”.
Joe Biden also confirmed sending $800 million in additional military aid to Ukraine, an “unprecedented” $1 billion envelope in one week.
“We are helping Ukraine create additional longer-range air defense systems,” he said.
