According to an Odoxa poll for Winamax and RTL, 72% of the French believe Russian athletes should be able to compete in the 2024 Olympics. Only 28% believe Russian athletes should be able to compete under the colors of Russia, while 44% believe they should be able to compete under a neutral banner, the International Olympic Committee said in late January.

BAKHMOUT
In Bachmout, the pressure on the Ukrainian army is increasing as Russian troops continue to advance to the northern outskirts of this iconic city. “Ukrainian defenses of the town of Bakhmout are under increasing pressure, with intense fighting in and around the town,” Britain’s MoD tweeted on Saturday.
He reported an “encroachment” of the “Wagner group and the Russian regular army into the northern suburbs of the city, which can now be attacked from three directions”. As a result, “Kiev is reinforcing the area with elite units, and in the last 36 hours two key bridges in Bakhmout have been destroyed, including a vital bridge connecting the city to the last main supply route.”
