A’automobile it’s over against the gates of Downing Street, in London. The news was published by Sky News, after which a man was arrested. There doesn’t appear to be any injuries. Traffic has been blocked and the area around Whitehall, where government offices are located, has been cordoned off by officers. A passer-by filmed the scene with his smartphone: in his published video we see how the white-colored car crashes into the gate at low speed and the trunk opens. Armed officers guarding the entrance to the British Prime Minister’s residence arrested the driver of the car.
The man was arrested for causing serious bodily harm and dangerous driving, Scotland Yard said. It is unclear whether this was a deliberate act. Police said they are working to determine the cause of the incident. Following the incident, the Whitehall area, which houses the departments’ offices, was cordoned off and cordoned off, but some cordons were later removed.
