The 29-year-old striker has broken his thumb and has to go under the knife. He should be out for at least four weeks.

Jenner has had some really good times since the start of the 2022-23 season. He is second only to a certain Johnny Gaudreau in the standings for the Blue Jackets.

In 30 games, the Ontarian has scored 11 times and provided as many assists for 22 points.

The Ohio organization also recalled center Josh Dunne from the Cleveland Monsters, their American League school club. He has five goals and six assists for 11 points in 24 games on the development track this year.

Dunne played six games for the Blue Jackets in the 2020-21 season but is still looking for his first National Hockey League point.

The Columbus Club will be in action Monday night when the Dallas Stars will be at Nationwide Arena.
