Vogue lost her mother when she was just 18 after battling leukemia before her sister Félicité died of an accidental overdose three years later.
Lottie recently described the “loneliness” she felt while grieving for her loved ones and how she wished she had sought therapy sooner after seeking help following Félicité’s death.
On the Grief Kind podcast with Sue Ryder, Lottie told Clover Stroud, “When my mother died, there was never any talk of getting help.”

“Looking back, it was pretty shocking to me and I talk about it quite a bit, but mostly the fact that she had cancer.”
“It was a medical illness and we were surrounded by a lot of medical professionals and there were young children involved and there didn’t seem to be any sitting down conversations like, ‘Shall we fix this?'” some help. ‘
“So I never had anything when I lost my mother. It wasn’t until I lost my sister that I thought, ‘You know, she ended up losing her life, it might have been okay if she had gotten the help she needed.’ ”
Reflecting on the grief she felt when Johannah died in 2016, Lottie added, “I think in the days and months after my mother died, it was just so surreal.” And I suppose you got the feeling to live in this nightmare.
“And there were obviously young siblings involved, with me being the eldest girl. So I kind of felt like it was my job to step in and try to be the mother figure to them.
“I think when Fizz died it was obviously a huge shock. And it was like unbelievable that we would go through that again.
“You know, it kind of felt like we just got over the other side of losing my mother. And then it happens again. It was just shocking.’
Lottie added that she started therapy after her sister’s death and recommended Sue Ryder’s free grief counseling after she had navigated her own “painful, long and scary journey.”

The makeup artist also admitted she struggled with “loneliness” during her grief as it was difficult to find someone going through the same struggles.
She continued, “You actually have this feeling of loneliness because unless someone has experienced exactly the same thing, which not many people have, you’re not going to be able to relate to other people and you almost empathize.” little.’ like one or the other.’
Johannah, who was also the mother of former One Direction star Louis, sadly passed away at just 43 after a battle with leukemia.
Last year, Lottie reflected on the “scary” time after her mother’s death, during which she struggled to find mental health support for herself and her then-12-year-old sisters Daisy and Phoebe.
She was only 18 when she lost her mother and three years later her sister Félicité died of an accidental overdose.
In an exclusive interview with Web, she admitted it was “shocking” that medical professionals did not offer advice to the family as they spent so much time visiting the hospital where their parents were treated.
She said, “We weren’t offered anything.” I think it was shocking because my first loss was of a very medical nature. My mother had cancer, so we kept going to the hospital.
“We were around medical professionals a lot, so in hindsight it was pretty shocking that we weren’t actually offered the help.” But at the time, it just felt normal.”
