Louis-José Houde announced today that his 18th appearance at the ADISQ Gala on Sunday will be his last.
The comedian revealed the information by making jokes about singer-songwriter Émile Bilodeau and talking about his personal hobbies such as cooking.
Maybe one day I’ll go back, but at the moment, with Émile Bilodeau all grown up, everything is happening too quickly. I also want more time for my shows, my personal projects, especially since I often cook over indirect heat, which takes longer.
ADISQ and Radio-Canada highlighted his accomplishments in a press release: He masterfully hosted 18 ADISQ galas. Never seen in the history of galas!
His passionate performances were greatly appreciated by the music scene and the audience. “This gala is above all a big music show, and as a motivated music lover, I was very happy to be able to control it for so long,” explained the comedian.
This final major meeting will take place live on ICI TÉLÉ and ICI TOU.TV (New Window) on Sunday at 8 p.m. Eastern Time.
You can also watch the best moments of the traditional numbers, in which Louis-José Houde reads acknowledgments for album covers, on PalmarèsADISQ (New Window).
