Love Is Blind fans were left furious after Micah Lussier’s best friend Shelby admitted she was “relieved” when Paul left her pal at the altar.
The bombshell wedding episode finally aired on Friday and revealed which couples said “I do” and which “I don’t,” with Micah and Paul going their separate ways.
Micah had shocked the gathering by asking Paul to reveal his answer first, before her partner left her heartbroken when he said he couldn’t marry her.
As Micah tearfully fled the wedding, her best friend Shelby – who has expressed her disapproval of Paul – was seen smiling and said she was “relieved” at the turn of events.
During the ceremony, she first admitted she wished she was “a lot more drunk” before being seen laughing with her friends while Micah was seen sobbing.

When asked how she was feeling, Shelby said, “Relieved, honestly. That’s how I wanted it.’
However, viewers were quick to take to Twitter to criticize her behavior as they claimed it was “terrible” for her to be happy instead of supporting Micah.
One fan wrote: “Shelby is an awful boyfriend wtf? Sitting there and laughing????’
Another said: “It’s very dramatic when Micah and her ‘friend’ Shelby laugh???”
A third tweeted, “The real villain this season is mf Shelby,” while a fourth commented, “I want Paul and Micah to get married to defy Shelby.”
And a fourth wrote: “The way Shelby shook me like a girl was grinning and looking all happy after her ‘BEST FRIEND’ was dumped and while her best friend left sobbing Miss Shelby looked over the moon.”
It wasn’t the first time Shelby had expressed her disapproval of Shelby and Paul’s relationship, having previously told Micah during a night of drinking that it was “not true.”
She said to Micah, “I think you deserve better. You shall have the best wedding of your life. You should have all that, and that’s not it.”

Despite declaring his love for the blonde beauty, he said: “I don’t think we can choose each other right now. I think we’re not there.’
The bride admitted she predicted the heartbreaking outcome and never felt “safe” in the relationship – before dramatically walking down the aisle in tears.
When they went their separate ways, Paul explained in an interview that he didn’t feel his love was “requited.”
Micah and Paul didn’t have a smooth journey on the show, as Micah first met both Paul and Kwame in the pods.
Micah then decided to cut off Kwame entirely while Paul severed his connection with Amber and the two eventually became engaged before meeting in the real world.
Micah then chatted up poolside with former flame Kwame while on vacation in Mexico and they looked like they were headed for a love triangle, but the pair were quick to insist there was nothing romantic between them.
When season four aired, Micah told Us Weekly, “When I made my choice for Paul, I made my choice for Paul completely and I’ve never had any regrets or looked back on it.”
The couple then moved in together and conflicted over where they lived, Paul’s wardrobe and storage space, but overcame the obstacles to continue planning their wedding.
Micah then had a very successful meeting with Paul’s mother, but Paul wasn’t as successful when he was spending time with his fiancé’s friends — with Shelby not warming to him and insisting their romance was “not true.”
Although it is not known if they are still together, they both still follow each other on Instagram.
However, they don’t seem to have liked each other’s recent posts and Paul also has a cooking Instagram page which Micah doesn’t seem to follow.

The video showed Paul doing a cioppino, but fans were convinced they heard Micah in the background, suggesting they could still be together.
Apparently, fans heard a female voice in the background and took to the comments section to voice their theories, with one writing “100% Micah’s voice in the background”.
Another said, “You can definitely hear Micah,” while a third asked, “Is that Micah in the background?”
Micah also shared a post on her Instagram Stories, in which a fan said that Paul’s recent haircut was “all the evidence that I need him and Micah to still be together,” to which Micah responded with a series of laughing faces .
The couple had open discussions about where they would live, with Micah splitting her time between Seattle and Scottsdale, where she owned an apartment, while Paul lived in Seattle.
Micah’s Instagram bio pinned her location as Seattle without mentioning Scottsdale, while Paul’s TikTok account also says he lives in Seattle, possibly teasing about her current situation.
However, it remains to be seen if the fan speculation was correct and the couple managed to rekindle things after the wedding twist, or if they went their separate ways.
As a first for the show, the reunion episode will be streamed live on Netflix, with viewers able to tune in and follow the action as it happens.
In years past, the reunion episode was pre-taped before it aired on Netflix after the series finale, and is usually followed by other catch-up episodes called After The Altar.
