Love Island: All Stars winner Tom Clare admits it “sucks”. Viewers want Molly Smith to get back together with her ex-boyfriend Callum Jones – as he calls Georgia Steel the “snakiest” contestant.
The 24-year-old footballer says he “understands” why fans want a “fairytale ending” for the former couple, but he can't help but feel depressed by the reaction on social media.
After becoming the first-ever All-Stars champion, Tom insists he has no doubt Molly, 29, and Callum, 27, are over and he believes there are no signs of one in the South African villa there was a connection between them.
And to make his relationship with Molly work, Tom revealed that he plans to move from London, where he currently lives, to Manchester, coinciding with his return to his old football team Macclesfield.
He said: “I came out and saw a lot of news saying Molly and Callum should get back together and it sucks to see, it sucks, but there were no signs of that in the villa.

During a quick Q&A session, Tom and Molly agreed that Georgia, who has taken a “break” from social media due to the amount of trolling she has received, is the “smartest” islander
“If there had been an inclination, if there had been flirting, I would have brought it up, but there was nothing at all.” I get it, they want the fairytale and have been together for a long time, but at the end of the day it still sucks to watch.'
During their time on the show, it was revealed that Georgia and Tom had a “history”: the couple had dated before joining the All-Stars cast.
But Tom says their romance wasn't as serious as Georgia claimed on the show and he claims they only met outside the villa “twice”.
Speaking to Sophie Habboo and Melissa Tattam on their Wednesdays podcast, he said: “Obviously I must have seen Georgia outside the villa for two days… we didn't see each other. “We weren't together or anything. I wouldn't classify it as a story at all.'
During a quick Q&A, Tom and Molly agreed that Georgia, who is taking a “break” from social media because she has been trolled so much since returning home, is the “smartest” islander.
Molly also revealed a comment from Georgia that wasn't aired during the show's Heart Rate Challenge, in which the islanders perform seductive routines on each other.
She added: “She tried to spend a lot of time with Tom…
“She said something to us that I don't think was broadcast.” After Tom did his heart rate challenge and as he left, she called over me to Arabella [Chi]“He put his hand on my chest and my neck” or whatever… “I wonder how he knew how to do that… and I just sat there.”
Molly and Tom won the All Stars series and took home the £50,000 prize money, while Callum came second with his new love Jess Gale
Molly was left feeling uncomfortable by her romance rival Georgia's comments, including a remark she made during the show's Heart Rate Challenge that Tom knew where to put his hands

Callum was given the decision by presenter Maya Jama to pair up with Molly or “steal” one of the other contestants, and out of respect for his previous relationship, he chose his ex.
And now Molly says she's grateful the show gave her a “glamorous squad” that prepared her for the moment she first arrived and was faced with the dramatic reunion.
She said: “They showed me who was in the starting line-up but he wasn't there so I thought, oh great, I can have my moment, I'll settle in and it'll probably come in a week or so.” , but I might have a connection…
“I went in and he was already in there, I saw the back of his head and thought: Cheers… that's great, isn't it?” Thank God there was a glamorous squad or it could have been awkward. I got my hair and makeup done before I went in.'
