Love Island fans complain that the driest and borest episode

Love Island fans complain that the “driest” and “borest” episode yet is a “struggling to get by”.

Love Island fans have complained that Tuesday’s episode was the show’s “most boring” yet.

The episode began with the islanders recapitulating the events of the previous night in which they appeared on a talent show.

However, the slower pace of the first half irked viewers at home, who took to Twitter to complain.

One said: “WHY STILL TALKING ABOUT THE TALENT SHOW PLEASE it’s a new day lets wrap it up.”

Another added: “The only thing worth watching tonight is the dumping and that’s the last 10 minutes.”

A third echoed: “Is this whole episode going dry and then a cliffhanger on the dumping?”

A fourth tweeted: “Are we going to spend 50 minutes talking about how amazing the trash talent show #loveisland was?”.

While a fifth agreed, writing: “let’s not waste an hour of our lives let’s get to the vote pls #loveisland”.

And a sixth wrote: “Those first 10 minutes weren’t even needed…”

It comes after it was revealed a couple will bid farewell to the villa just days before the grand final as dumping is set to take place.

Monday night’s episode gave viewers 15 minutes to vote to save their favorite couple, putting all islanders at risk of being kicked out of the South African mansion.

With the end of the winter series fast rounding the corner, Love Island presenter Maya Jama is set to crown the winners of the ITV show on Monday March 13.

The new dump will take place on Tuesday night – just days after a major tremor that sent four islanders packing in a dramatic double dump.

Olivia Hawkins and Maxwell Samuda were previously chosen as the least compatible pair and then forced to choose another pair to get the boot.

The pair then had to choose between Claudia and Keanan, Rosie and Casey, and Tanya and Shaq — all of whom also received the fewest votes from the audience.

They chose Claudia Fogarty and Keanan Brand.

In Monday’s episode, the return of the show’s famed talent show revealed the stars’ hidden skills, including Casey’s questionable trumpet playing.

The 26-year-old recruiter was spotted in a black tuxedo and gold bow tie as he took his place in the spotlight in front of his fellow islanders.

He held the brass instrument to his mouth and played a version of Happy Birthday.

However, his efforts left a lot to be desired with the other villa dwellers as he plowed through his pitching performance, with the show stars bursting into tears of laughter.

Viewers on Twitter compared the moment to last year’s talent show when Indiyah Polack, 23, put on a rather dodgy performance of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star on the recorder.

One person tweeted, “There’s a replay of the Indiyah moment with Casey,” while another viewer commented, “Casey you’ll never be Indiyah.”

Another shared, “Indiyah’s performance definitely impacted Casey today.”

While another viewer wrote: “I hope someone recorded their dog’s reaction to Casey. We need another Indiah laugh.”

“Casey with that trumpet is as bad as Indiyah with her recorder LMFAOOOO,” laughed another viewer.

While another wrote: “As if Casey’s talent was riding someone else’s tails…bore Casey, you’re no match for Indiyah.”

Another person joked, “The spirit of Indiyah possessed Casey.”

And someone else shared: “I’m sorry Casey but you’ll never be that iconic Indiyah sorry not sorry.”

Indiyah let her housemates and viewers down with her talent show performance last year.

The former hotel waitress set social media on fire when she tried playing the recorder for her talent – with hilarious results.

The beauty performed a rendition of Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star, but ended up playing much of the track out of tune.

The other islanders quickly tried to stifle their laughter, with Tasha Ghouri even covering Andrew Le Page’s mouth.

Indiyah herself started laughing during the performance and quickly knelt behind her notes so she couldn’t see the faces of her fellow islanders.

Viewers were quick to take to Twitter to react to the hilarious moment, writing, “Why is Indiyah playing the recorder so weird to me?”

Another wrote, “Indiyah on the recorder got me rolling and it’s the way Ekin-Su was so serious and told Danica to stop laughing.”
