A source told The Sun: “Love Island was a mess last night after the stars were told one of them was leaving.
“The drama was taken up a notch when it was then down to one of the contestants to decide the fate of one of their co-stars. It was an intense moment, to say the least.
“Fans will scream at the TV when they see the decision this person has yet to make. And what they do will absolutely rock the villa.”
The latest twist comes after the cast and crew were hit hard at home with a gastrointestinal illness while filming the current winter series in South Africa.
