Tensions are simmering between Olivia Hawkins and Kai Fagan as she branded him “fake” on Wednesday’s episode of Love Island.
Olivia, 27, pulls Kai, 24, over to ask him directly why he didn’t call her Least Trustworthy during the Knowing Me, Knowing You challenge.
The brunette says, “I was pretty shocked you didn’t pick me,” to which Kai tells her, “I just want to mash the beef, that’s it.”
Olivia replies: ‘I want to crush it completely, but your choosing Claudia for me was a bit like being a cop.’
Kai agrees with her, saying, “Yes, that was it, that’s exactly what it was.”

Later, Maxwell – whom Olivia brought from Casa Amor – is keen to understand why she took Kai to have another chat.
The next day, as Olivia and Maxwell gather up the daybeds, Maxwell receives a text message inviting them on their very first date.

The ring girl and gym teacher were in a couple together before being separated for Casa Amor, but both returned to the main mansion with new partners.
During a conversation with his new partner Sanam Harrinanan, 24, she said: “Olivia wants to talk to you just to pour water on the bridge but she wants an apology.”
Kai responded bluntly, “I don’t apologize to anyone”
Sanam added: “I think from what I’ve gathered she wants to close this book and so do you. So can’t you just shut it up and be polite because it makes me uncomfortable.”
Kai said: “I’m being polite with her, although that’s the thing, I’m not going to sit on her and have a conversation with her.”
After the chat, Kai said at the beach hut: “Olivia wants an apology from me, I don’t really know what I’m apologizing for and I can say one thing for sure, I would walk out that door before apologizing to her. It doesn’t come from me because I didn’t do anything wrong.
