‘Their relationship is so vain’: Love Island viewers blame Tom for dating Samie because of her looks, as he describes her as ‘gorgeous’ ONLY during the ‘Meet the Parents’ episode
Love Island viewers have accused Tom Clare of dating Samie Elishi during Sunday night’s episode because of her looks.
The islanders were surprised by their family and friends ahead of the finale, including Samie’s mum Wendy and sister Courtney.
Tom’s mother Maxine and sister Laura also go to the villa to meet with the islanders.
His sister Laura said: “She’s amazing, you’re such an amazing couple, how loving you are to each other, you’re always looking for each other, it’s just so beautiful to see. I think she’s right for you.”
Tom then complimented Samie, calling her “gorgeous” but saying nothing about her personality.

Love Island fans took to Twitter to express concern whether Tom only likes Samie for her looks.
One user wrote: “If Samie didn’t look like she did Tom wouldn’t be around her because all he says about her is her looks.”
Another said: “Idk if Tom is just describing Samie’s looks because his vocabulary is limited, or if beyond that he really can’t see her.”
A third wrote: “Tom still hasn’t said a single nice thing about Samie… their relationship is so vain”
One fan wrote: “Tom do you like anything about Samie besides her looks???”
Another said: “You see Tom struggling to say anything about Samie apart from her looks it’s actually pathetic lmao.”
Samie was seen asking her mum and sister: “Do you like him?”
Samie’s mum replies: “He’s so cute, he absolutely adores you Samie and you really like him don’t you? I’ve never seen you like this before.”
When both families met, they hugged and caught up the daybeds, with both families approving of the relationship.
But soon the conversation turned to the talent show, with Samie’s mother saying, “May I just say the singing, we’re going to karaoke … because I can’t sing either.”
It comes after the long-awaited final dates were shown on Thursday’s episode of Love Island as the winter series draws to a close.
Tom and Samie traveled to their date in a bright red Ferrari before being treated to a private mountain restaurant set in the middle of a lake and adorned with red rose petals, with a harpist serenading them.

She said in the teaser: “Join me live from the villa tonight in South Africa. Dumped Islanders Will and Jessie and Casey and Rosie will share the gossip.’
In an Instagram story that has since been deleted, she had already exposed the big news in advance.
In a selfie-style video, Will and Jessie could be seen in the background, but Maya quickly removed all traces of the post, which is no longer on her profile.
Love Island continues on Monday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX for the finale.
