Love Island viewers praised Lana Jenkins on Sunday’s episode as she shocked Villa by choosing Casey O’Gorman over Ron Hall in the recoupling.
Lana had conflicting feelings between Ron and Bomber Casey, admitting she was “messed up” between the two.
However, Ron has been linked to Tanyel for the last two reunions and other islanders have accused him of continuing Lana after he was turned by newcomer Samie Elishi.
During the dramatic reunion, Lana surprised many viewers when she decided to “follow her gut” and chose Casey.
Explaining her reasons, she said: “I decided to pair up with this boy because he’s kind, funny and makes me smile.

“I’ve been fighting between my head and my heart but tonight I’m going with my gut. The boy I’ve been dating is Casey.”
Viewers were quick to take to Twitter to react to the moment, writing, “Yes Lana wipe that smug look off Ron’s face.”
Another added: “Yes Lana! I didn’t think she had it,” while a third said, “Yes praise the lord Lana is smart.”
A fourth user added, “Lana you redeemed yourself my friend,” while a fifth said, “Lana chose Casey, finally Ron has a taste of his own medicine.”
There was more drama for Lana and Ron during Friday’s episode when Samie revealed his secret conversations.
Despite claiming Lana was his priority, Ron continued to converse with the other girls at the mansion, causing Lana to become suspicious of their relationship.
However, Lana was picked out by Aaron Waters in the last reboot, and Bomber Casey caught her attention after he arrived at the mansion.

To win back Lana’s affections, Ron promised to focus on her and competed with Casey to make her breakfast.
But when Lana started opening up to the idea of giving Ron a chance in Friday’s episode, Samie suggested he could hide his true feelings from Lana.
Lana said, ‘I’m in completely different phases with Casey and Ron, it’s hard to throw that away, but then am I…?’
Samie replied, “Lana, he’s a flirt man, he’s a real flirt,” but Tanya said to her, “Lana, no.”
Loved up: Lana spoke to Casey before and he told her: “I don’t have to mess with you to realize what I have with you if it makes you feel more reassured.”
Safe: Lana said of the fact that Ron (pictured) wasn’t in danger of being dumped on the previous relink: “I was glad when they called your name.”

Sensing there was a problem, Lana asked, “Why, what are you telling me?”
Speaking of Ron, Samie replied: “I think he’s just messing everyone’s heads. He’s trying to make everyone happy.’
Lana asked Samie: ‘Is he still trying to keep options with you?’
Samie replied, “He was very smart with what he said and how he said it.”
She then said Ron insisted he and Samie had the same spark he had with Lana.
Adding that Ron had said he wanted to get to know her better when things went wrong with Lana, Samie insisted: “I think he’s just as confused as everyone else.”
