Love Island’s Davide Sanclimenti hints at secret show feud as he’s banned from cast’s WhatsApp group
He captured the hearts of the nation when he and Ekin-Su Culculoglu were crowned Love Island champions with 63.7 per cent of the public’s vote.
However, Davide Sanclimenti has hinted he is not as popular with his fellow islanders as he revealed he has been banned from the cast’s WhatsApp chat.
Speaking on Capital Xtra on Friday, the Italian business owner was asked: “Is there a Love Island WhatsApp group and has anyone left if there is one?”

Davide replied: “No. To be honest nobody has added me yet.’
When asked if he was “left out,” Davide continued, “No, I didn’t leave. I had never been added. Not yet.’
Ekin-Su then revealed that she had her own small group chat, explaining, “I don’t even have one. We don’t have all the girls in it either. It’s just me, Tasha and Indiyah in there.’
Ekin-Su and Davide, after bonding over food and viewers, became hooked on their whirlwind romance.

Despite some setbacks, including Ekin crawling across the terrace floor to keep their kiss, former islander Jay Younger, a secret, the couple said “te amo, love you” in Italian by the end of the series.
Sources have told Web that Davide has also hit several marks this week as the couple looks set to become one of the most successful winners in Love Island history.
Ekin-Su has since signed the biggest clothing deal in the show’s history with the Oh Polly brand, Web exclusively revealed.
The 27-year-old actress was “inundated with offers” from multiple retailers after her landslide win with Davide, but wanted to “follow her heart” and sign with a company that believes in her.
A source told Web that the ITV2 champion is “ecstatic” and having “the week of her dreams”.
A source close to Ekin-Su said: “Ekin has been meeting with countless brands this week but she knew Oh Polly was the perfect fit for her and the feeling was mutual.
“She’s signed a massive deal worth over a million and now she can’t wait to partner with the brand and work on her very first collection.
“Before Love Island, Ekin dreamed of one day making a name for herself, she will never forget that feeling of being wanted and admired by her legions of fans.”
Ekin not only left the Love Island mansion as the show’s winner, but also with the biggest following as 2.6million viewers rushed to support the former Turkish soap star.
