The 26-year-old influencer, who rose to fame on the first season of Love Island Australia in 2018, said she is at her highest weight and wants to lose 57kg to 52kg
“My goal is to lose 5kg and return to a healthier lifestyle.
“I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with my body – I just want to feel better inside.
“I need to eat better, drink more water and exercise.
“This will also be great for my mental health. Who else has set a goal for 2023 to lose weight? Probably most of us. Let’s see how I’m doing…. ‘

Married at First Sight’s Clare Verrall responded to the post, stating that thinness isn’t about luck or worth.
“It took me until I was 38 to stop making my NY resolution to lose weight and instead focus on my overall mental health, loving my body and treating it like the incredible vessel it is” , she said.
“I have rollers, cellulite, very pale skin and am always covered in random bruises. However, I love my unique body now. Being skinny isn’t happiness, nor is it your worth in the world (even if you’re obviously a “skinny” woman). Everyone says she’s “still” beautiful, she’s just beautiful. Point. That’s it.
Erin, who often posts about body positivity, hit back at her critics, declaring she’s “not a bad role model” and “no one to hurt.”
In a second post, she added that she “never said it was bad to weigh more” and that it was “her body and her choice” and that “she’s not here to please everyone.”
The star hit back at fans who said she was a “bad role model” for wanting to lose weight
“I realize I sound like my mother but my god the media has made us fret about our bodies which is so sad. You are beautiful inside and out. F*** diets.
“Someone who is in therapy is so much hotter than someone who is just focused on being skinny.”
Another fan wrote: “Love your stuff usually but this really isn’t helpful for those who are prone to eating disorders and body issues, especially a younger audience. It’s great to have goals that resonate with you, but stay away from numbers when it might negatively impact someone else.
Erin first rose to fame on Love Island Australia season one before building an Instagram following
Erin, pictured on Love Island, previously said loving her body has been a long process
A third added: “Woah love your stuff but that’s a bit damaging. 57 kg is very light and a perfectly healthy weight for your size. I probably weighed this when I was a teenager! May trigger ED with this post. I am triggered and weigh 57 kg, which is a completely normal BMI. Not suitable for young audiences”.
“I’m not sure why you had to add your exact weight and height to a post that you claim is about wanting a healthier lifestyle and feeling better from the inside,” said another. “I’ve been following you for a while and usually find your posts inspirational and uplifting, but that’s damaging. I think you need to be more careful with so many young followers,” they continued.

Married at First Sight’s Clare Verrall responded to the post, stating that thinness isn’t about luck or worth
“Is it really ‘my body, my choice’? ‘ she said in an Instagram story.
“Because whenever we make the decision to do something for ourselves and post it on OUR PERSONAL page; someone always has a problem with the choice we made.
“So really, if we want to do something, do we have to ask permission and get support here before we’re allowed to do it? I feel like I need to get approval from random people on my Instagram before I literally do or say anything! Otherwise someone is offended
‘Or… I’m suddenly a “bad role model”
Erin often shares stunning selfies online and has been open to breast augmentation and non-surgical nose jobs
“Scrolling through Instagram gets exhausting. Constantly having to walk on eggshells 24/7 to make sure you don’t say or do anything wrong because there are so many new RULES to follow
“I will stand by forever: If I’m not hurting anyone financially, emotionally, physically, or spiritually, then I’m doing nothing wrong.
“Can we stop trying so hard to impose our own personal beliefs/opinions on other people? Forcing you to see things your way will never work. If something I post offends you or you disagree with it; unfollow or block. Nobody forces you to follow the people you have on Instagram. Stop taking everything so personally and for God’s sake stop being so sensitive,” she continued.
Last year, Erin admitted that she “struggles with cellulite mentally” and that it took “hard work” to love and appreciate her body to hide her cellulite

The glamazon posted a before and after picture of her butt to illustrate how social media influencers use clever photo tricks to hide her cellulite.
“I took these photos five seconds apart! In the LEFT photo, I push my hips back and bend my knees slightly. In the RIGHT photo, I push my hips forward and cross my knees. IT’S ALL ABOUT THE ANGLES GURLS!’ She wrote.
Erin has previously shown off her physique at the gym – and has been praised for showing off her ‘roles’ at the gym
She continued, “I know I have many young girls following me here; So I thought I’d just show errrrbody my butt and remind the world that we ALL have cellulite SOMEWHERE. IT IS NORMAL.
Erin explained that learning to love her body was a long process.
She wrote: ‘I have mental problems with cellulite; every day I learn to love it a little more; but some days I absolutely hate that ass and cellulite. It’s okay to be honest and admit that sometimes loving your body is hard work, right?!
“A reminder that most of our photos are edited to make our Instagram look fabulous, bright and happy. Sometimes it’s refreshing to add this type of content to my Instagram.’
