Love Island’s Samie Elishi was in high spirits on Saturday as she shared a giggle with friend Claudia Fogarty, days after she was given the all-clear over her recent cancer scare.
The 23-year-old reality star recently revealed the results of her thyroid surgery in a health update after waiting two weeks to find out if her lump is cancerous.
And after receiving the good news earlier this month, Samie was certainly in the mood to celebrate as she celebrated her 29th birthday over drinks in Manchester with fellow islander Claudia.
Samie cut a casual but stylish figure for the outing, slipping into form-fitting gray leggings teamed with a navy bomber jacket and trainers.
She was carrying essentials in a dream tote bag and her cellphone in hand as she walked inside.

This comes after Samie revealed she was “doing fine” after undergoing thyroid surgery nearly three weeks ago.
Giving fans an update on her health, the TV personality admitted she “thought she would be a lot worse after the procedure.”
Speaking exclusively to Web at Ghost Fragrances’ Luna Collection launch party last week, she revealed she was fine after coming out of the anaesthetic.
Samie said: “I’m great, I’ve got a Prosecco in hand, but honestly I thought I was going to be a lot worse than I was.” But I woke up and about 20 minutes after eating McDonalds !
“I was absolutely fine and I know some people have worse experiences but I was very lucky and my surgeon was great and that was with the NHS. So yeah I’m great and healing.”
The reality star, who recently revealed the bump on her neck isn’t cancerous, said she’s had several messages from fans since she opened up about her health.
Samie continued, “I get DMS and messages from fans like ‘I’m going to have surgery’, ‘I have the same scar’.”

“I even have moms and grandmothers who text me that because of you, my granddaughter has a lump in her throat and is getting it checked out.” I’m like, ‘Oh my god, that’s awesome.’
Although he only had surgery last week, Samie was able to return to work immediately.
She added, “The hustle and bustle never stops and I have a lot of exciting things ahead of me.” September will be massive.
Despite being “very busy” with brand deals and events, Samie made it clear at producers’ request that she will not be returning to Love Island for the All Stars series.
She said: “I’ve always said that Love Island is a one-time thing and I don’t think I’ll be going back. ‘I’ve done my time.’
Samie, who looked stylish at a recent boohoo party, received the good news over the weekend after waiting two to three weeks to find out if her lump was cancerous.

During her recent YouTube appearance, she decided to share the results with her fans after meeting up with one of her pals, Abi.
She said: “We just got some really good news. My surgeon just called me and said the lump in my neck is not cancerous, just a benign tumor.”
“So there’s Prosecco to celebrate,” to which her friend then replied, “Cheers!”
Later in the video, Samie added, “I just wanted to finish the vlog with the highest grade ever.” I was just so happy when my surgeon called me yesterday.
“It was a bit overwhelming that I was so shocked – god bless him for calling me directly too, I just think that’s so nice of him, he didn’t have to do that.”

“But yeah, the worry is over now and the knot is out.” Obviously, it’s harmless, meaning there was nothing to worry about at the end of the day.
“But it’s always good to have these things checked and removed because you never know what it could be in the future.”
“It’s just a really big safety measure.” I don’t regret the surgery, and I don’t regret having the knot removed, but on and on.
“The results couldn’t be better – it’s non-cancerous and that was my biggest concern.”
The reality TV star first opened up about her cancer fears when she posted a tearful video in April telling fans she had discovered a lump in her neck.
