Four years have passed since then Eric He orchestrated a colossal financial scam from which he got out clean without getting his hands on the money. If it was at most a joke for the man, someone else’s life was ruined instead…
We’re obviously talking about it Cornelius of Thalheim (Christoph Mory), who as we know was wrongly blamed for the fraud and was therefore forced to fake his own death to avoid arrest. Since then, Cornelius has only dreamed of the moment when he would finally get justice. However, that moment may never come…
When Erik discovers that his nemesis is staying at the Fürstenhof and wants to frame him, In fact, he will not hesitate for a moment to report him to the police and have him arrested. This time, however, Cornelius will not be alone!

Ready for anything to win back the friendship Selina (Katja Rosin), Ariane (Viola Wedekind) will actually decide to exonerate von Thalheim by “sacrificing” Erik. Hoping to limit the consequences for the latter (and not expose herself in the first person), the dark lady will therefore deliver Florian (Arne Löber) the evidence against Vogt and asks the boy to persuade his brother to spontaneously report him.
This will lead to a hard confrontation between the two Vogt brothers, a confrontation that threatens to escalate! When Florian threatens to hand over evidence to the police in person if Erik doesn’t turn himself in, Erik loses his head and He’ll grab a shovel, ready to stab his own relatives!

Well luckily Florian will be able to calm his brother who will eventually lower the gun and resign to his fate. The man will then surrender to the police under the anguished eyes of Ariane and Florian, while the von Thalheims will rejoice. After Erik’s confession Cornelius is indeed released and is thus able to regain his life.
Everything solved? Not exactly! In fact, Cornelius will finally be free, but he has now lost the woman he loves and must therefore rebuild a future for himself. For Florian, however, his brother’s arrest is doubly dramatic: Even if he sent his tutor to prison, he still lost Maja. The same applies to Ariane, who will fear that she has lost both her best friend and her life partner.
In short, more than a happy ending, Erik’s arrest will be a bittersweet event. And the “bitter” side will clearly prevail when shortly afterwards Vogt will unexpectedly return to the Fürstenhof…
