LPHF: Montreal escapes with a win in Minnesota

Tereza Vanisova scored a goal in the third period to give the Montreal LPHF team a 2-1 victory over Minnesota on Wednesday night at the Xcel Energy Center.

Just over six minutes before the end of the final third, the 27-year-old Czech took advantage of a generous return shot to break. It was his first goal of the season.

Laura Stacey gave Montreal the lead with a one-timer in the first period. However, the crowd favorite equalized in the middle battle thanks to Michela Cava.
