SBT released the following statement: “SBT deeply regrets the death of Luana Andrade, Domingo Legal’s stage assistant. According to her family, the death was due to complications during a cosmetic liposuction performed yesterday at the São Luiz Hospital, Itaim Department. Luana did not resist cardiorespiratory arrests. Luana Andrade Lopes was 29 years old and was born in São Paulo (SP). After graduating in advertising, she was a businesswoman, influencer and worked as a model since 2018. She also participated in the 6th edition of the reality show “Power Couple Brasil” and has been a stage assistant at Domingo Legal since April 2023. SBT, the Domingo Legal team as well as the entire board and other colleagues of the station express their great sadness over Luana’s departure and wish her friends and family a lot of strength. “
The wake will take place on Wednesday (8) from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Valle Dos Reis Cemetery in Taboão da Serra (SP). The cremation ceremony is scheduled to take place from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Lu was born on January 21, 1994 in São Paulo became known by participating in Power Couple Brasil 6 (Record) from May to July 2022. Unlike her boyfriend João Hadad, who quickly integrated and made friends on the reality show, the model had difficulty fitting in with the other participants.
The couple had a few arguments during the show. After a trial against women, she lost patience with Hadad. At the time, she said she was hurt by her husband.
