The untimely death of Luana Andrade at the age of 29, ensured that “Domingo Legal” (12) began this week with a tribute to SBT’s stage assistant. Luana died on the 7th as a result of knee liposuction, shocking her family, friends and colleagues. The body was buried the next day amid great excitement.
Sunday of this week was already recorded and was therefore attended by Luana. At the beginning of the issue Celso Portiolli appeared in a video about the model, businesswoman and influencer (see below). “It was supposed to be another day of joy,” he said, recalling that Luana had worked normally on the program two days earlier.
“She had her whole life ahead of her. “It’s one of those moments where we repeat the phrase out loud several times to see if we can believe what happened,” he added, showing scenes from Luana’s debut on the show.

Celso also highlighted the personality of the stage assistant. “(She had a) bit of a shy demeanor, but she conquered her space and learned everything. She took her work seriously (…). The stage was her place, but behind the scenes she shone brightest,” further defining Luana as polite and helpful, with “a light that radiated joy.”
The communicator, who also said goodbye this week to Roberto Manzoni, alias Magrão, emphasized that it was not an easy decision to show the unprecedented program. “May your path be full of light. Lots of light. May it continue to shine up there,” he concluded in honor of the influencer, who received a touching request from her boyfriend.

The internet was moved by the touching tribute to Luana. “Many Brazilians that I didn’t live with and barely knew were so touched by this tragedy. I cried, it could have been my daughter. There’s nothing to say there. Just ask God to send him lots of strength, first of all, to family, to friends,” one wrote.
Others commented with crying emojis. “How sad. May she rest in peace,” another added. “May God welcome her in his arms, such a beautiful and sweet girl” and “We will miss her” were sentences left on X (formerly Twitter).
